What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is one of the most enduring forms of Yoga known to us, today.  It is a mother, or root yoga system that embraces the totality of the yoga practice.  Through the practice of kriya (physical movement), pranayam (breath work), mantra (the medicine of sound current), and meditation, the practitioner embraces the fullness and wholeness of life.  The body becomes a healthy manifestation of living energy, as Kundalini Yoga strengthens the nervous system and endocrine system along with the traditional physical openings, strength and flexibility yoga is known for.  This ancient system also rebuilds the emotional body, empowering deep healing and growth on multiple levels.  It creates an ideal space to find your highest self, breaks addictive behavior, and transforms body, mind, and spirit into the most beautiful manifestation of YOU!
